Diamond bracelets in 14K gold and white gold
A bracelet can be worn alone or stacked together with several on the same wrist. At Longvé, the bracelets are built around diamonds in 14K gold and 14K white gold, from a single tennis bracelet to slimmer models with one or a few stones. The selection ranges from a fine bracelet for everyday wear to a wider piece that carries a whole wedding. Here the different types stand side by side, making it easier to see what distinguishes a bangle from a tennis bracelet, and how carat and setting change the look. Both lab-grown and natural diamonds recur in the same designs.
Tennis bracelet, bangle or single stone
A tennis bracelet has an unbroken row of identical round, brilliant-cut diamonds all the way around and gives the most sparkle. It comes in weights from around 1 carat and up to 6 carat, so the amount of light can be chosen according to how striking the bracelet should be. A bangle, on the other hand, is a fixed ring of metal where the diamonds sit in a band on the top, as in a bezel diamond bangle or a pavé diamond bangle. If you want something smaller, a slimmer bracelet with a single stone or a few stones works, such as a prong diamond bracelet or a bezel diamond bracelet. The entire selection is gathered under Bracelets.
Prong or bezel around the diamond
The setting determines how the stone sits and how it catches light. In a prong setting, the diamond is held by fine metal claws, so it is lifted clear and lets light in from the sides. A bezel setting encloses the stone with a rim of metal all the way around, giving a smoother surface that less often catches on clothing. Both are available as both tennis bracelets and single-stone models, and at Longvé they recur in prong jewellery and bezel jewellery. A bezel tennis diamond bracelet brings the enclosed setting together in a full row.
Choose the length of the bracelet
Tennis bracelets and bangles are given in centimetres around the wrist, so it fits closely without being tight. The tennis bracelets come in 15 to 19 centimetres, while bangles typically run from 16 or 17 to 19 centimetres. Measure the circumference of the wrist and add a little, so the bracelet can move freely.
- 15 to 16 centimetres for a slim wrist.
- 17 centimetres as a common middle point.
- 18 to 19 centimetres for a stronger wrist or a looser fit.
A bracelet with a letter
The letter series is also available as a bracelet, where a single letter from A to Z sits on the chain. This makes a letter diamond bracelet | a-z | personal without drawing attention away from a tennis bracelet or a bangle worn beside it. Several bracelets on the same wrist work well when the widths and the amount of diamonds complement each other.
